Va. County Schools Post 91.4 Percent Graduation Rate

Figures released by the Virginia Department of Education (VDOE) show that 91.4 percent of Fairfax County Public Schools (FCPS) students from the class of 2011 graduated on time.

That’s 4.8 percentage points above the state average of and up slightly from 91.2 percent for the class of 2010.

“Fairfax County continues to be a leader in the state,” said FCPS Superintendent Jack D. Dale. “But our work is not complete until every student in the county has a Virginia high school diploma.”
