There's no place for bickering on the N.C. school board

Open up the newspaper on any given day and you're likely to read something about the education system in North Carolina.

And, in the past few years, rarely has it been good news.

There's less federal money trickling down to North Carolina classrooms. And there's less state money finding its way to Cleveland County schools.

In recent years, Cleveland County education leaders have had to routinely anticipate and plan for spending cuts mandated by the state. And every one of those cuts plays a role in our children's education.
