Smart Toys and Games, Inc., a leading producer of award-winning single-player logic games and the SmartMax magnetic construction system, has earned awards from coveted parenting and education awards programs – National Parenting Publications (NAPPA), Parents' Choice, and Learning Magazine's Teachers' Choice (TCA)– for its games and toys Aqua Belle, Bill & Betty Bricks, Trucky 3, Color Code, and SmartMax Set –BASIC 25."These prestigious awards carry great weight and show that our products have passed the tests of parents and teachers alike," said Jim Whitney, president of Smart Toys and Games, Inc. "These awards can help our retailers position our products as great learning games for kids of all ages."

Receiving a Silver award in NAPPA's Games Category, Aqua Belle provides 48 challenges asking players ages 6 and up to help the mermaids keep watch over the seas and catch the dangerous fish in the bubbles.

According to NAPPA, this recognition is more than just a seal of approval for Aqua Belle. "It signifies that a product has been rigorously evaluated against stringent criteria and that it stands out among hundreds of similar products from around the world." Judged by independent expert judges and family testers, NAPPA selects the most entertaining, appealing, safe, educational, age-appropriate, and enduring products as winners.

Bill & Betty Bricks was named a 2012 Parents' Choice Silver Award winner. These awards are based on the product's design, function, educational value, and long-term play value. Bill & Betty Bricks' 60 challenges can be enjoyed by players ages 5 and up who develop improved spatial perception and motor skills, while helping the Bill and Betty construction worker figurines make their way to the top of a building.

Parents' Choice also named Trucky 3 on its holiday list of "Best Toys under $40". Trucky 3 is a single-player IQ-building game with three trucks and 48 challenging activities that are easy at first and gradually get more difficult.

2013 Teachers' Choice Awards Classroom Winners include SmartMax Set – BASIC 25 and Color Code. For the past 19 years, the TCA's have "heralded the very best in classroom-tested, teacher-recommended products."

SmartMax Set – Basic 25 allows children ages three and up to experience the wonders of magnetism and the fascinating world of construction in a safe way. Towers, bridges, and houses are just a few building options that take advantage of the large pieces to engage even the youngest builder.

With Color Code, players ages 5 and up develop logical reasoning, strategic planning, and spatial perception while deciding how to stack the 18 bold colored shapes, each on a see-through tile. Never-ending fun can be had with the 100 challenges and four different levels of difficulty.
