Scott Walker veto further restricts release of data on Wisconsin voucher schools

The state budget expanding taxpayer-funded voucher schools across Wisconsin will put new limits on the release of public data about their performance, with Gov. Scott Walker reshaping those limits Sunday with his veto pen.

In signing the budget, the Republican governor put a tighter focus on the public information affected by the limits but also left the restrictions on its release in place.
