Rockford (Mich.) school board may pilot blended learning program

Rockford schools is looking at piloting its own blended learning program in response to its students not performing well in the new countywide program that's an alternative option to private cyber schools.

In a memo, Ryan Kelley, assistant superintendent for instruction, said most of the approximately 35 students enrolled in the MySchool@Kent program developed by the Kent Intermediate School District "failed to make satisfactory academic progress putting timely graduation in jeopardy."
