Ohio Schools Working on Adding Electives During Teachers Strike

As the district's teachers hit the picket lines for the start of their third week on strike, not much has changed outside the schools.

But inside the schools, Superintendent John Krupinski said the district is moving forward with reinstating some lost courses and activities, and continues to bring in substitute teachers.

"We will go to a full day at our high school during the week of March 18, and we will provide curriculum beyond the four core courses," Krupinski said in a March 16 press release.
