"We have no indication that any of the victims were his students," said Lt. Mark Lowther with the Weber County Sheriff’s Office.
A long-time Ogden school teacher was charged Thursday with multiple felonies in connection with allegedly sexually abusing two children under the age of 14. Prosecutors charged Scott Ray McMurray, 58, with 11 counts of aggravated sexual abuse of a child and three counts of sodomy upon a child. All charges are first-degree felonies.
He said investigators received information on Monday that McMurray allegedly committed a sex offense against a child in unincorporated Weber County. He said investigators believe the abuse reportedly went back an extended period of time.
