N.J. Schools Advocate for Anti-Bullying Awareness

On vast green or black sheets of slate in classrooms across the country, the word bullying appears in big, bold letters.

Now part of the daily lexicon in New Jersey schools especially, increased reporting requirements and more awareness of bullying are highlighting this perennial schoolyard problem.

Schools in the state are working hard to address the ever-changing realities of student-on-student intimidation and threats that are generally referred to as “bullying.”

Many are hoping to erase that word from the board for good.
