Tarus Giles, 29, is charged with 10 counts of third-degree burglary in connection with school break-ins that stretched from Nov. 19 to Monday.
Officers responded about 2 a.m. Monday to the 600 block of Augusta Avenue on a report of a business alarm and found a broken window at Floyd Elementary School, said Lt. Regina Duckett, a police spokeswoman.
Officers spotted Giles running in front of the building and took him into custody.
