Michigan District Approves School Technology Grants

Money from the sale of a 1960s-era house will help finance 21st-century technology in Howell Public Schools.

The school district will use $15,000 from the sale of the Parker House to help start a district grant program that will finance classroom programs that use technology to boost student performance.

"We're using it as seed money for the program," Superintendent Ron Wilson said.
