Hillsborough, N.J. School Official Won't Get Paid for Last Year ... Yet

The school district's acting assistant superintendent for personnel might get paid for work he did last year — but not yet.
Three board of education members voted to pay Andrew Rinko, and two voted against doing so at a board meeting Monday.
But "you need the majority of the full board, not just the ones in attendance," said Kia Bergman, the district’s community outreach coordinator. Four members of the nine-member board were absent Monday night.
Board vice president Judy Haas and board member Dana Boguszewski voted against the measure in the 3-2 vote.
