Hamilton (Ohio) Schools Hires Two Technology Coaches

In preparation of upcoming digital changes in Hamilton City Schools, two teachers within the district will soon take on the role of full-time technology instructional coaches.

Zach Vander Veen, director of technology, said the district has posted an internal job listing for two instructional coaches of technology. He hopes to have the spots filled by the end of the school year.

The new technology positions come as Rex Bucheit, technology integration coordinator, prepares to retire effective June 1 at a current annual salary of $75,073.

“We’re changing the role to be more of a coaching position,” Vander Veen said.
