Framingham, Mass. district increases tech spending

For the third year in a row, the schools are planning to spend hundreds of thousands of dollars on technology upgrades throughout the district.

Superintendent Stacy Scott’s administration has even more ambitious goals for the future, including a possible adoption of the one-to-one device model that is already catching on at other districts.

For now, the Framingham schools are in the middle of an ongoing technology spending plan that has already provided hundreds of laptops to teachers as well as new desktops to upgrade computer labs.
