Fla. School Board Revising Its Policies

The Polk County School Board’s policies and procedures are getting a major overhaul this week.
The School Board began revising its handbook Monday, guided by NEOLA, with which the district has a $90,000 contract. NEOLA is an Ohio-based company that helps school districts with document management and policy revision.
The district has hundreds of policies that address everything from reduction in staff, professional development, nondiscrimination and equal employment.
