$100 Million Bus Tour: Ala. School Board Looking at Schools to Renovate, Rebuild

During a break between rain showers, members of the Mobile County school board just boarded a big, yellow school bus to tour schools throughout the county that it is considering rebuilding or renovating with $100 million in construction funds.

All five board members are being joined by Superintendent Martha Peek, Facilities Manager Tommy Sheffieldand Huey Belair and Larry Tart with the facilities department.

Also, Tracy Roberts, who is currently a member of the Baldwin County school board but has just been elected to the state school board to represent the area, decided to come along.
